  AMERICA'S
         CROSS
ROADS

HONORING  THOSE WE'VE LOST ALONG OUR NATION'S ROADSIDES,
THEIR MEMORIALS AND THEIR STORIES
.........

Unknown Memorials

Every month America's Crossroads features these memorials and others in the hopes of
finding more information on them

We so badly want to know more about these lost loved ones,
their memorials, crosses and stories.

CAN YOU HELP?

These two roadside memorials were
found on separate highways
in southwestern Arizona.
The one on the left was found on highway 68, the roadway between Kingman and Bullhead Az
.

And the beautiful, simple cross was found
on highway 95 near
Christmas Tree Pass between mile markers
5 and 6

 These unusual monuments were
noticed by travelers on their way to  St.George, UT. On Hwy 15....
The one to the right is just so intracate!
It almost looks like inlayed tile, and
is done the same on both sides!
The one on the left is just awesome!
The colorful flowers, inlayed stones,
and a tiny birdhouse..

Geographically these memorials were far apart. Yet they both illustrate a  similar loss.
The one on the left was sent to us by a visitor.
Found on Hwy 95 betweeen Bullhead City, AZ.
and the California border.
And the one to the  right is quite different.
We found it to be both simple and symbolic..
Found in the center divider on Hwy 15 north
near the Bunkerville, NV. exit.

Since we began collecting pictures we believe that this might tell the underlying story of every monument, memorial and cross. Lying at the bottom of a white cross decorated with flower arrangements this little ribbon was seen by our site photographer.
He said it caught his eye because it looked as if it had been layed out just so everyone passing could see.
The simple word, "REMEMBER"......
We will be continuing to bring
you pictures and stories about these wonderful memorials.
And we hope, if nothing else...we help all those who want to to
REMEMBER.......

Please feel free to send us pictures and stories of memorials along the roadsides where you live...
You can send things through email to: submissions@americascrossroads.com   And if you have thoughts or experiences you would like to share please go to

These pictures are only but a few of the many memorials and monuments we have found. These were found mostly in the north western portion of Arizona.
We hope that after showing the hundreds of unknown memorials someone will contact us with information about them.
Please write us if you see one you recognize or if you know of one where you live. We will be happy to add those to this site.

However, please read and understand AMERICA'S CROSSROADS submission terms and conditions.
