The only information found regarding this memorial is that “Collins” was an employee of the MTC/Arizona State Prison and died in January of 2008. The rock cross formation is found near the corrections facility in Golden Valley, AZ.

Pamela Joyce Simmonds' body was found along the roadside on Hwy 68 in Golden Valley, AZ.  Minimal details were found but it seems Pamela was missing from Laughlin, NV for a time before she was found between mile markers 6 and 7.  The LA Times stated that two men were questioned in her
disappearance but were found to be of no association.  Pamela was born in 1951 and died in 1986
