HONORING THOSE WE'VE LOST ALONG OUR NATION'S ROADSIDES,
THEIR MEMORIALS AND THEIR STORIES.........
Found Hwy 68, between mile markers 12 & 13..Golden Valley,AZ. (John Moore)

Club and loved being in the outdoors. Stephen was riding east on Hwy 72 when a motorist pulled out in front of him from Hwy 95. Currently there is an online petition to the Parker Police Dept with 211 signatures for a further investigation into this accident. (www.PetitionOnline.com) A short YouTube video can be viewed of the Benefit Ride in Dec of ’08 and research shows another Memorial Ride was held in Nov of ’09.
Ryan Thomas Cooper “Coop”
died tragically after an automobile accident along I-15 just north of MesquiteNV on August 11, 2008. His memorial stands proudly on a rise between mile marker 2 and 3.
This beautiful memorial lays tribute to the man who was described as a loving husband and father of 3. Ryan was born in St George Utah and spent his childhood in Santa Clara. After his marriage, he resided in Washington, Utah where he and his wife built Cooper Concrete Co Inc. He was an avid hunter, loved music and water sports and was taking flying lessons. He was a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs.
According to a partial account from the AZ Dept of Public Safety, Ryan’s 2007 Dodge pickup was traveling southbound on I-15 and rolled across the northbound lanes, coming to rest in the northbound emergency lane.
This memorial is truly awe inspiring and shows many aspects of Ryan’s life. After a short climb, you’ll find a beautifully constructed cross with intricate detailing and scripture. Ryan’s face smiles out from the front. The back of the cross invites those who visit to leave their thoughts complete with Sharpies left around the sight. Behind the cross lies a 5 point rack which bears wishes and thoughts as well. As this memorial stands above the I-15, it shows the love and respect from the family and friends he left behind.
These memorials were some of our first submissions! They were found on Hwy 95 between Bullhead City, AZ. and the California Stateline. Even with
the information on the crosses we still are struggling to tell their story!!

CAN YOU HELP US?
Jeremy Moon, 27, of Fontana, Calif., was visiting his grandmother, Lou Crihfield, for Thanksgiving. Moon and his wife, Anna, wanted Crihfield to be able to meet her 11-month-old great-grandson Ian. But instead of the traditional family dinner, the family was enveloped in tragedy.
While driving their Chevrolet Silverado pickup to Wal-Mart at approximately 7 a.m. on the 4500 block of Homestead Road, the couple and 15-year-old cousin Crystal Lopez were struck head on by a Cadillac Escalade SUV driven by prominent manufactured home dealer David Cleveland, 52, of Pahrump.
